Ms. Dunbar has worked in Education since 2012 in various roles, including Math Teacher, Student Services Coordinator, Academic Specialist, Dean, and Director. She has worked with all ages, from Preschool to High School and everything in between. Ms. Dunbar was born and raised in Lafayette, IN, and attended Purdue University for her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. She also has master's degrees in Psychology and Teaching from San Diego State University and Marian University. She loves watching college basketball, doing genealogy, watching movies, crafting, and spending time with her dogs, Kipling and Kizzy, in her spare time. Ms. Dunbar's number one goal is to build resilience in her students to face the challenges of life in math and otherwise.

Grants Awarded in 2022: School Supplies Grant

NSHSS is always looking to find ways to support our network of educators, especially those who are constantly looking to support their students. To help offset the financial burden, NSHSS is awarding fifteen (15) high school educators $500 grants to help provide additional opportunities to their students and classrooms.
