Cindy Philbeck
Cindy Philbeck, a Teacher-Librarian in the Warrior Library Media Center at Wando High School, is a certified teacher and school librarian who earned her MLIS at the University of South Carolina. She founded WarriorWorks, the maker space of the school library, in 2021 and initiated Creative Cafe activities as a break from technology use and to offer creative opportunities in the library during student lunches. Wando High School was recently named the #5 high school in South Carolina by US News & World Report.
NSHSS is always looking to find ways to support our network of educators, especially those who are constantly looking to support their students. To help offset the financial burden, NSHSS is awarding fifteen (15) high school educators $500 grants to help provide additional opportunities to their students and classrooms.
