Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) is one of the most globally diverse, two-week academic summer programs in the world. YYGS serves nearly 2,000 students from over 150 countries and 50 U.S. states and distributes over $3 million USD in need-based financial aid to both domestic and international students.
The two-week residential program facilitates discussions on cutting-edge topics in academia, while students engage with like-minded peers around the world. Participants attend sessions based on their academic interest, including subjects in the humanities, social sciences, STEM topics, and a cross-disciplinary track that incorporates all of the above.
”YYGS was truly a transformative experience for me. From the thought-provoking seminars to the engaging discussions and diverse perspectives shared by peers from around the world, every moment deepened my curiosity and inspired me to think more critically and globally. I especially appreciated the chance to connect with faculty and students who are passionate about driving change, both in their communities and beyond.”
