On Saturday, April 25, NSHSS will welcome members and their families to Gainesville, Florida, for our first-ever Member Event at the University of Florida!
This one-day event will include a networking breakfast, informative sessions led by UF students and staff, a College & Career Fair, and educational sessions. The event will end with the NSHSS Member Recognition Ceremony, where each member will be honored and receive an NSHSS medallion for their academic achievements!
This agenda is subject to change. Final details will be sent to ticket holders 2 days before the event.
Attendees will check in with a digital or printed copy of their tickets, and members will receive name badges.
Attendees will be able to gather information from College & Career Fair exhibitors. NSHSS will provide a catered continental breakfast for all event participants to enjoy while they speak to exhibitors and other members!
NSHSS will welcome attendees to campus; then, UF admissions staff or students will guide them through an informative presentation about the university.

NSHSS Members will hear from University of Florida students about navigating campus life, choosing an appropriate major, and other general information about UF.
Hear the NSHSS Scholarships Administrator and NSHSS Fellows Vice President discuss some tips for standing out in the college admissions process and finding and applying for scholarships!
Members will hear congratulatory remarks and receive their own NSHSS honor medallion.
NSHSS has secured a courtesy block of hotel rooms at the Reitz Union Hotel - conveniently located in the same building as the Reitz Union Grand Ballroom for this event!

8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Exhibitor Set-up
9:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Networking Breakfast and College & Career Fair
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Exhibitor Move-out
Main Stage (exhibitors who are also speaking will present here): Reitz Union Grand Ballroom
All exhibitors can use the room block listed above; we do not have separate room blocks for exhibitors.
Shipping directly to the Reitz Union Grand Ballroom on the UF campus is NOT permitted. No shipping/receiving area and no storage available in the Reitz Union building.
One shipping alternative that could be leveraged is the assistance of local UF Mover Guys moving company, who may be able to assist with receiving shipped materials, and transporting them to campus for drop off on event day. Use of this additional resource is completely optional and costs associated with use will not be absorbed by NSHSS.
Event attendees & exhibitors should plan to park at the UF Welcome Center Garage (located just south of the Reitz Union at the corner of Museum Rd. & Reitz Union Dr.) or Garage 5 (located at Gale Lemerand between Hume Hall & Garage 14).
All outstanding exhibitor fees will need to be paid before the event. Failure to complete payment may result in removal from the exhibit hall.
We require pre-registration for our exhibit hall. If you arrive without registering, we may not have a booth available.
