NSHSS members joined their families, educators, and our partners at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta, GA, to be honored and recognized for their outstanding academic achievements at this 2-day conference in our hometown!

This event featured several educational sessions, a college and career fair, networking opportunities, and the live competition between our Be More Competition finalists!

    Scholar’s Day Atlanta 2023 kicked off with a welcome message from NSHSS President and Co-Founder Mr. James Lewis, followed by event announcements and more.

  • 4:20 - 6:45 PM Be More-A-Thon Finalist Presentations

    Finalists presented their projects, prototypes, and nonprofits selected to compete in the NSHSS Be-More-a-Thon for the chance to win a $10,000 grant.

  • 7:00 - 8:00 PM Member Party

    Students let loose with fellow members at a party just for them! Music, games, and refreshments came together to create a great opportunity to network.

    Parents, this session was just for you! They learned more about the college admissions process in this parent-only session hosted by an NSHSS educational partner.

    Attendees enjoyed lunch with their families at local restaurants. There were plenty nearby to choose from!

    Members of the NSHSS Collegiate Council, and Fellows discussed some tips for standing out in the college admissions process and finding scholarships that work for you! Live Q&A during the session.

    We heard final thoughts of inspiration from our closing speaker, scholarships were presented, Educator, Grant, Claes Nobel World Betterment Award, and Be More Competition winners were announced!

    All members were invited on stage to receive an honor medallion for their academic achievements!

Be More Competition

NSHSS celebrates and honors lifetime members from across the globe who believe in being the next agents of change and the next thought leaders. The $100,000 NSHSS Be More Fund is a program set up to provide funding to NSHSS members aspiring for world betterment and will award $10,000 grants to the ten winners.

As part of the fund requirements, the top 14 finalists were selected to participate in a LIVE judged competition at Scholar's Day Atlanta for all event attendees to watch. Finalists presented their projects live during the event in front of a panel of judges to compete for their chance of earning one of the $10,000 grants. All competitors left the event even more inspired to continue their efforts to make the world a better place!
