NSHSS STEAM Scholarship

Ten (10) $1,000 awards
Eligibility:
NSHSS members who are high school seniors (graduating in 2025) and plan to major in a STEAM field (science/medicine, technology, engineering, arts, or mathematics).
Scholarship Details:
The increasing role of technological innovations in our daily life cannot be understated, and by recognizing the significance of the arts, the STEAM field provides a vast amount of opportunity for those interested in it. NSHSS created this scholarship to honor those students who embrace and celebrate the STEAM field and thrive within it.
Application Requirements:
- Educator recommendation
- Prompt response of 500-800 words to the following question:
- Why STEAM? What drew you to pursue a career in a STEAM field? What are your career aspirations related to your major? Provide us with specific examples of your dedication to this field.
- Pictures/videos/media showing your leadership in action (optional)
- Color headshot suitable for website posting
- Academic resume
- Current Transcript (can be official or unofficial)
