Veritas AI provides ambitious high school and middle school students who are passionate about AI with a suitable environment to explore their interests. VAI programs include collaborative learning, project development, and 1-on-1 mentorship. These programs are designed and run by Harvard graduate students and alumni.

Types of programs offered

  • Structure = Group classes with 5:1 student-to-mentor ratio
  • Duration = 25 hours over 10 weeks (weekends) OR 25 hours over 2 weeks (weekdays on summer break)
  • Student profile = Grades 9-12
  • Pre-requisites = none
  • Output = A group project with 3-4 other students

  • Duration = 15, 1-1 sessions with a mentor and 2 sessions with a publication expert

  • Pre-requisites = Basic understanding of python /
    completion of AI Scholars
  • Output = A novel AI model in a field of your interest, personalized mentor evaluation, and publication submission to a high school or college-level research journal OR showcase through presentation/competition submissions

  • Output = Independent research paper in the field of AI, submission to college-level research journal or CS/Science competition (e.g., ISEF Regeneron), and personalized mentor evaluation and 4 1-1 sessions with a publication expert

The Veritas AI Deep Dives are 10-week courses curated for ambitious students interested in the intersection of AI and other fields. You will engage with AI experts, lectures, programming notebooks, and a hands-on project based on the applications of AI in other fields like medicine and finance.

  • Deep Dive (AI + Medicine) Through this course, you will get the opportunity to dive deeper into how AI is transforming healthcare and medicine. You'll work on projects to use AI & ML models to diagnose diseases, sharpen medical scans, and explain their outcomes to aid doctors and patients. The course is designed to help you understand the applications of AI in genomics, hospital admissions, drug discovery, neuroscience, and more!
  • Deep Dive (AI + Finance)Through this course, you will get the opportunity to dive deeper into how AI is transforming financial markets. You'll work on projects to use AI & ML models to predict future financial patterns using past data, forecasting stock prices, and more. The course is designed to help you understand the applications of predictive modeling in finance, banking, wealth and asset management, and fraud detection.
